WELLNESS CONTENT VIDEO PROJECT FOR CORNERSTONE

Aug, 2023

Saffron was part of a campaign for a Cornerstone staff wellbeing initiative over a period of a few weeks.

When staff rotas and commitments can be difficult to bring people together on set days/times, it was suggested that video content would be a great way to access guidance sessions.

Topics ranged from 'Mair Than Mindfulness' which highlighted a holistic 'whole' approach to mindset & factors which influence our state of mind, to Stress Management, Nutrition, Weight Management & other Lifestyle Advice that integrated with these topics.

A survey will reveal how this influenced the large volume of support workers throughout the whole of Scotland that had access to this program.

"Cornerstone was first established in 1980 by Nick Baxter in the North East of Scotland to support adults, children and young people who had a variety of needs including physical and learning disabilities, autism, and dementia. Since then, we have been fundamental in changing the face of social care in Scotland through implementing a person-centred approach to care, and following the belief that everyone, no matter their ability, should be able to play an active part in their own community.

Cornerstone’s focus is to encourage social inclusion, reduce loneliness, and improve health, independence and wellbeing by working closely with the people we support and their families, setting personal goals with them, and ensuring they receive the care and support they need to live the best life possible."
